In using Lernu.net I have belatedly discovered certain features that I wish I had known from the start. I have a blog, so I summarized my discoveries in a post, which may be of use to other beginners.

In the post, I also provide a link to a Anki electronic flashcard deck I'm building to help me master the lessons 'vocabulary. Anki is free, so English-speaking students might find this deck useful. The deck now is current through lessons 1-7, and I'll be updating it as I go through more lessons.

UPDATE: Now deck goes through lesson 9, plus some corrections made.

I have finally figured out some things about Anki that were puzzling. For details, see this post. In summary:

a. The name seems to be used for some different apps. I am referring specifically to this app: https://apps.ankiweb.net

b. When you download the app, click "Sync" in the top-line menu. You will need to provide a name and password, but then any decks you use will be automatically updated — for example, as I update my deck of Lernu.net vocabulary, lesson, by lesson, your copy will automatically be updated as well. Right now the deck goes through lesson 11.

c. Now that I've figured it out, the URL for the Lernu.net deck is stable: https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/1740773027

d. I have updated also my guide to using Lernu.net, which consists of things I've learned about the course that I wish I had know at the beginning.
