That's an idea. I usually drive up. Of course, when I go I'm usually visiting family, but a ride up to Boston might not be bad. Meanwhile, I'm going to try to get to one of the NY meetings. And the Baltimore idea is good too, since that's about as far as NY.

I'm still the only person on Amikumu in the city. I really miss speaking Esperanto.Hey! You might like to know that Amikumu now has another member from Philadelphia! RiotNrrd:Over here in the Portland, Oregon, area, it's also an esperantist desert. I guess there was a UK here back in the early 70's, but that's about the only large meeting I've heard of (and that was over 30 years ago).I found two Esperanto speakers in Portland, Oregon on Amikumu. Just go to Serĉu profile and type Portland in the field for Urbo and then click Serĉu. You can then say Hi to Erik and Crystal.
