Hi, My name is Jim and I have just started taking the lessons to learn Esperanto. My question is I tried downloading some of the intro lessons on this site in the MP3 format. But after I try to open them it tells me they are "corrupted or invalid". Any one else have this problem and is it going to be remedied? Thanks.

Hi

What course are you referring to, was it "Mi estas komencanto"? Normally you should right click on the link to the mp3 file, choose, "save link as" in the menu that pops up, and save the file. Is that what you did?

If you go to "Learning" then "Downloads" then "MP3" all the down loads except "Vojagu Ku Zam" show up as "corrupted" whether I open it up right then or save it to file and then open it up.

So far, I've downloaded Ana Renkontas, Frazoj, and Alfabeto, and all unzip and work fine on my computer.

Ana Pana is the only one that's given me trouble, as it downloads as "dosiero.php" instead of a zip file.

I had no problems at all with any of those downloads, including Ana Pana.

Jim, do you have an unzip program? These files are not simple mp3 files, they need to be unzipped. They would likely show up as corrupted if you took them and tried to open them up directly with a music player; I'm not sure if that's what you tried to do, or if you did unzip them first. What browser and operating system are you using?

You are right the computer I down loaded it on does not have an "Unzip" program. I down loaded them on my work computer which has "Winzip" but there are still problems unzipping the files. I will have to work on it. Thanks for your help.

I am also having compatibility problems when I download Mp3 songs included in joox mod app. And do I have a way to fix it myself?
