Does anyone elses computer do this?

Hey all, I have been using this 'feature' on my computer for some time now, and I only just realized I have NO idea why it works.

Whenever I press C, then the 'insert' button on my keyboard, it puts a circumflex ontop, Ĉ. Same goes for Ŝ, Ĵ, Ĝ and Ĥ. I discovered this by chance a month or so back. Does everyones computer does this?

What did you do with your computer? I don't think the "insert" button can do so. Maybe your computer has sth special? lango.gif

Oh true, yes I installed that a while ago. I didn't know it affected your whole computer though! Good stuff.

It shouldn't. I installed it too, and although it works OK in FF (as it should), pressing "ins" has no effect when I am in notepad. Again, I am not surprised... but perhaps you found a configuration setting that I am not aware of.
