Can anyone tell me what the verb 'bambi' means?

I found it in Duncan Thomson's parody, 'Mola'.

"En la kongreso mi renkontis belulinon,
Ni bambis, brakumis, ekestis amorem'."

If anyone can tell me, would you also mind letting me know where you found the definition; I'd like to buy that dictionary 'cos it's clearly better than the ones I've got! ridulo.gif

Mi KREDAS, ke la verbo estas derivita el la nomo de la cervido, Bambi, en la animacia filmo produktita de Walt Disney. Do, la signifo estus: "uzi siajn okulojn tiamaniere, kiel la film-cervido faris".

I think the word was derived from the film character in the Disney production Bambi. The meaning would then be: "to use one's eyes like the fawn in the film did."

Right, it does mean dancing "la bamba", and more specifically, playing the kissing game of sorts that accompanies "La bamba" at Esperanto youth events.

You wouldn't ever find that in a dictionary, I think; it's just an aspect of Esperanto youth culture.

Thanks to all for your replies!

How could I forgotten about the 'herpetruleta danco'? The dance interpretation of 'bambis' fits in perfectly with the theme of the song.
