Does anyone know of any sentences that are grammatically correct (and maybe even comprehensible) in both English and Esperanto?

The words 'blue' and 'klingon' got me thinking that this is probably possible.

I tried to come up with something myself, but only came up with a meagre wordlist that I couldn't string into a meaningful sentence. The closest I got was: Veto blue iris sin, which makes little sense in English and even less in Esperanto.

Anyone able to one-up me, or at least list other words that exist both in Esperanto and English?

The only words I could drudge up were: aghas (kind of cheating), veto, blue, iris, sin, son, angoras, cantinas (seems cheating since loan word, similarly: casas and bolis).

This kind of thing works better if you go by sound rather than pronunciation.

There is a famous poem written by an Italian rabbi a long time ago, that had meaning in both Italian and Hebrew - Chi nasce muor / Kina sh'mor. You would have to say that one language's variant would not be understood by a speaker of the other language, however; some distortion of pronunciation is necessary to get from one language's version to the other. You could do it with English and Esperanto, but like I said, it would likely require some amount of distortion of pronunciation, and also going by sound than spelling.

It's super hard. Leon de Modena was a great genius of Torah, and even his sounds don't always line up perfectly (for example, s turns into sh, ts becomes ch, ya becomes ĝa)
