I have a question for some of you long-time users of this site. I've lost the website address of an Esperanto resource that I've often seen referred to by Lernu users. It is a site, all in Esperanto, that gives examples of Esperanto usage. It has the Esperanto alphabet on the upper left and a picture of an old Roman road (?) on the right. By clicking on a letter, you get examples of phrases and sentences. The URL is an odd one.

I was attempting to set up a dual-boot of Windows XP and Ubuntu 9.04 yesterday and something went very wrong. ridulo.gif I lost XP although I had an installation cd of Ubuntu and I got Ubuntu up and running. Although I could take the computer to a repair shop and get XP reinstalled, I'm thinking of staying with Linux --- permanently. I have the Gnome version of PCLinuxOS on an old Emachine that I often use and have kept updated. Now I have Ubuntu 9.04 on my Dell. I am asking myself why I need Windows anymore since Linux is working as well as it does nowdays. The answer is that I don't. However, I've lost a lot of info, including sites I had bookmarked.

Does anyone here remember the site that I'm talking about and not describing very well? I hate to think of searching thru the 60 pages of this English forum. Thanks. demando.gif

ĉu ne?
That's it, gyrus! You're a lifesaver. Dankegon! It's odd -- I used many different word combinations on Yahoo Search and this URL was never given.
