Some time back, there was someone on this forum (I think!) looking for the tape recordings that go with the "Jen Nia Mondo" course book. I just wanted to let you guys know, for anyone who is interested, that the recordings have been published on CD. You can probably obtain the CD at the major Esperanto book services (I know that ELNA has it, but it was published in Britain, so the ESB probably has it as well).

Yes, I have the newer version, which is a standalone, all audio, version of the course. It can be used without the workbooks, as it is narrated. My impression is this. It would be a poor choice for a beginner, but it's a very good intermediate level course. The modern version course doesn't seem to come with any book or transcripts, that would make it more valuable if it did.
Each CD is broken into several dialogues, and each dialogue is broken down into short segments with explanations of key points. There is a lot that isn't explained though, and that could be frustrating for a beginner. Afterwards, the dialogue is repeated in its entirety on a second CD track. This is nice as you can rip just the dialogues to mp3 for listening practice.
