Saluton ĉiuj,

Chances are a few of the English speakers on this site have heard of Diaspora, an open source social network still in development that promises to respect its users privacy while offering all the features we've come to expect from a social network. Right now a great way to help make it more awesome is to help out with the translation into Esperanto. Right now it's at about 5%, but I'm sure a bit of work here and there will fix that in no time.

Everything you need to know to get started and much, much more: http://github.com/diaspora/diaspora/wiki/How-to-...

Oh nice, I had no idea they were that far along... Things are a lot different from back when myspace and facebook were just starting up eh!

Just to update the Diaspora translation status:

Esperanto translation is just 14% ready. If I knew enough Esperanto I'd translate it myself but given that I'm just beginning with Esperanto...

I've helped translate StatusNet Mikroblogo so I guess I have a bit of experience. If I could find free time I will help.

And please, who is in charge of the translation effort at 99translations? Are you in this thread? Can you help me join?
