Internet Explorer doesn't work on my home computer so I'm using FireFox.  That means I can only post messages at work!

And might I suggest that as long as it doesn't work, it shouldn't pretend to work and then post a blank message?  Or at least, the warning message when you come in the forum should be bigger.

Kaj alia afero: kial mi ne povas skribi en la Esperanto-forumon?  La elekto, skribi novan mesagxon, ne ekzistas tie.

I'm hoping that when they get the "new" Lernu up and running, that this problem will be fixed - I hate running IE.

Same here! I would much rather use FF!

It is sort of ironic if you think about it, that a website devoted to promoting the ideas of neutrality and universal, unfettered communication tells you:  "Sorry, you have to use Microsoft Internet Explorer because, despite its many flaws and absences of internationally-recognized standards, it's the most popular browser."  I'm not complaining, mind you, I know how tricky it can be to get JavaScript to work everywhere, but as Firefox is becoming the major competitor of IE, I am sure there is a more viable solution to all of this.  If push comes to shove, Lernu could always just shamelessly rip off the bbCode Control script from phpBB ridego.gif  Honestly, I do not even care about formatting so even if the script checked to see if the browser was from Mozilla and disabled all the formatting completely, that'd be better than it not working.

Another suggestion, while I'm on the subject, would be to point out how great it would be to have a Preview button.

The rest of the site works just fine in Firefox, however.  I've been here since 2003 and never noticed any problems until today, when I decided to browse the forums for the first time.
