I've knocked up a simple website that collects together all the Esperanto podcasts I'm aware of that have RSS feeds. It's not finished yet, but it's in a usable state.

I'd love your feedback. What do you like or not like about the site?

The address is http://www.podkastaro.org/. Check it out.

Cheers!

Tre bone! Would I be correct in assuming that the website uses the RSS feeds to constantly update itself?

Yep. Sadly, this means there is no way (that I can think of) that means I can add Ĉina Radio.

Fantastic, I utilize podcasts a lot for learning. How did you get the RSS feed for Parolu Mondo to work? It has not been working for me for a few weeks. Anyway, thanks for the resource.

Maybe you can just post a link to the Ĉina Radio main site? It would be better to give people a link to visit, than not to mention it at all. Some people might like to know that it exists, even if you can't use RSS to pull in the up-to-date podcasts.

I like the video reports they have from time to time. It's cool to see a professionally-done video of a reporter presenting a story in Esperanto.

I'm not sure, that one just worked. The only sources that have presented problems so far are Radio Esperanto de La Ondo and Vatikana Radio. The site uses caching pretty aggressively, only checking for updates every 6 hours so it's pretty tolerant of slow or unreliable servers (which I think was the problem for Radio Esperanto de La Ondo).

Vatikana Radio presents a particularly dodgy RSS feed, but I think I've got around that now. They have at least three feeds though and I've only found two. Most feeds aren't valid, so perhaps you should find a client that's more forgiving?

Yep, that would make sense and I've been thinking along those lines. I had a really good look at the Ĉina Radio site and eventually found some mp3 files that were extremely well hidden -- their site is not the simplest website I've visited. If time permits I may set up a web scraper to try to make their content accessible from Podkastaro.

Ĉu la retejo "podkastaro" jam funkcias? Mi ne povis malkovri ian Esperanton, nur Ĉina.

Sendube, tiu retejo jam tute ne rilatas al Esperanto.
