1. Sxi jam trikis tri puloverojn.
2. Ili estis okupitaj la pasintan semajnon.
3. Mia orangxo estas la plej malbona.
4. Liaj gepatroj estas tiel gxentilaj kiel la miaj.
5. Ili (antaux nelonge) fermis sian butikon.

Seriously, the following are the words that you should have used
1. knitted instead of knit
2. during instead of for
3. worst instead of worse
4. as instead of so
5. shut instead of shutted
6. for instead of since
If you want to improve your English, the best suggestion I can think of is to read good authors regularly. Subscribe to good quality magazines and newspapers (like the Reader's Digest, or The Times) and listen to programmes (like the BBC news) which will supply you with models of good style. Also use English dictionaries written in English, as this will help you learn to think in English. Finally, the British Council should be able to give you good advice.
Good luck with learning English. Knowing it well is certainly an advantage in this world. But you should find Esperanto (which you can learn on this website) a lot easier!
