I've tried a few common words, and it looks all right. I tried an arguably unfair test, "should", since it has no exact Esperanto equivalent. The usual approximation is devus, while it gave devi, but I would regard that as a minor fault.

It's fair to say that Esperanto doesn't have a one-to-one corresponding word for English 'should'.
But why would one expect that, given all the different uses of 'should' in English.
I am upset that you should think I did it on purpose.
Should the phone go, take a message.
I should like to have studied medicine.
I was anxious that nobody should be hurt.
But, to translate you shouldn't smoke so much, 'devus' is the correct form.
