sudanglo:Version: 8.0.6001.18702, Erinja.I'll report the problem to Jev, our programmer. I'm not sure what the problem might be but certainly he should be aware of it in case someone else reports the same thing.
In the meantime - I agree with the rest of the posters, your web experience will by and large be faster and better with any browser other than IE. What I like about Chrome is that you never ever need to update your browser version - it automatically updates itself, without bothering you about it, whenever an update is available.

lgg:IE is the most popular and convenient browser around. I don't think this site is a place for advertising of buggy and unsupported software funded by advertisement company Google.ROFL, thanks for this posting, made my day.

But, darkweasel, if Iggs post made you laugh, then take a look at this ("Renders all pages as they are supposed to look by the only standard that really matters.")!

About the standards, the standard is what a majority of 60% use. In particular, it excludes various Mozilla-specific extensions.

Fenris_kcf:if Iggs post made you laugh, then take a look at thisI just went there and this popped up:
"You have been mislead by a vocal minority and are using firefox, which is clearly an inferior web browser to IE6. Please switch to IE6 and sign our petition."
Okaaay then.
Interestingly at the bottom of the page they say their campaign was started on April 1st. So it would seem the site is either a prank, or they unwittingly chose the most appropriate date.

Fenris_kcf:lol. (Although this one is obviously a joke.)

It is more like 40% and declining fast. Happily, because especially previous versions were a disaster for web developers.

Is there much to learn when using Chrome, or is it just like using Explorer?
What happens to all my favourites?
---------------------------------------
Further detail that I can add on the problem I have encountered, is that whilst visiting the Questions (Esperanto) section of the Forums, my AVG Internet Security (version 12) popped up a report that Explorer was using an unusual amount of memory and recommended closing and reopening.
I never seem to have problems at other sites, nor in the English section of the Forums.
