What is the differences in the pronunciation or "c" and "ĉ" or "g" and "ĝ" or other letters like this? I have trouble learning this, and at times they seems almost the same.

c = ts as in bestseller, or zz as in pizza;
ĉ = ch as in church;
g = g as in gargantuan;
ĝ = g as in Germany

If you know the IPA (international phonetic alphabet), they are :

c = /ts/
ĉ = /tʃ/
g = /g/
ĝ = /dʒ/

Are you a speaker of a language other than English? There may be equivalent sounds in that language, e.g. in Polish it would be

c = c
ĉ = cz
g = g
ĝ = dż

Paul
