Is there a dictionary online somewhere that can be searched? The one on this site is convenient, but I think it would be nice if there was something that could stand alone as well.
Thanks a bundle!

The ESPDIC (Esperanto-English Dictionary) is a stand-alone file available in text, PDF, epub, and mobi versions.

You can download it to your device and then search it locally without needing an internet connection and without having to install any special software.

Not sure if that's what you're looking for, but I can't pass up an opportunity to plug ESPDIC ridulo.gif

Amike,

Paul

Haha, that's actually a lot more useful than what I was thinking of! How swell, now I can have a nice Esperanto dictionary in my pocket.

Dankon.

My favorite Esperanto dictionary is the Vikia Vortaro, which searches the most popular online Esperanto dictionaries. It's nice, because if one doesn't have the word you're looking for, one of the others usually does. Failing that, it allows you to add your own entry if none exists.

I use ReVo, it really works! you can search words in a lot of languages and find a description of the word in Esperanto and the translate in a few languages.
