Is there a comprehensive list somewhere of all translations into Esperanto (with dates of publication) of popular or classic titles.

I have a copy of a translation of She by Rider Haggard, which I suspect was published during WWII, but there's no date I can find in the book.

There's a paper sticker from the Esperanto Publishing Co but this hides the printed name of some Dutch publishing house.

How did you find that out HB? The early date would explain some of the strange kunmetitaj formoj in the text.

But I was also thinking of the wider issue, of knowing whether any title had already been done in Esperanto, and for potential re-translators the possibility of consulting earlier translations.

Comparing the 1910 translation of Alice in Wonderland with the 1990s translation, I began to wonder if Broadribb had even been aware of the existence of the earlier edition. (There were things there that were nicely done, and why hadn't he copied them.)
