Mi estas nova al paroli Esperanto. Mi koni mi havas malbone gramatiko, bonvolu ekskuzi ĝi. x_x
I am a beginner at Esperanto and I am fifteen. I have always wanted to learn a new language and this one is relativity easy to learn. I know my grammar is TERRIBLE right now but I am still in basic and I'm only on lesson 25. Mi ami tiu lingvo! It is amazing and I am happy I can finally speak dua language at once! I am still having some troubles and time to time I have to use the dictionary and read from the words I listed in my journal. Anyway, I love the community and I hope I can catch up with the rest of you guys. Soon. ^^

Hello! I'm happy that you like community and hope that you will further study the language. It is very beautiful and unlike most other languages, it is rewarding. (It feels awesome when you've read your first book in Esperanto or had a long conversation in it)

A quick kurseto (little course: takes about 20 min or less) is I Kinda Like Langauges: Esperanto. It explains some basics of Esperanto and by the end you'll know how to have a quick conversation in it!

Kiun kurson vi sekvas en lernu? (Which course are you doing on lernu?)

Lastly, don't be discouraged. With effort and persistence, you'll speak the language well in no time. (:

P.S: A while ago, I created a Quizlet flashcard set with some basic nouns and adjectives. Here it is.

The second lesson in that course contains an English error:
From that, you can guess the word for a teeth by simply removing that ist. What is a teeth?

I enjoyed reading all of your replies and thank you to Riano, who gave me the small guide / quick lesson. It will really help me improve studas. Also thank you for the warm welcomes and I hope I get to see you guys more often on the community forums. ^o^

And, is there any language that is not rewarding when you learn it? I believe it's a great feeling to be able to understand a book, news or something in another language. All languages are rewarding.

Mi estu dirinta, ke ĝi pli rapide premias onin, ĉar ĝi estas pli facile kaj pli rapide lernebla.

I should have said that it rewards one faster, because it's easier and more rapidly lernebla.

Ah, now I see! Yes, it's true that you can start understanding a lot faster texts in Esperanto due to its easiness. But it is not the only language you can do that, your mother tongue also plays an important role okulumo.gif.

I remember the first time that I read an article in Esperanto. I speak a number of languages but that first article in Esperanto was very, very special, becvause it came so early on. There was no struggle as with other languages, e.g. looking up endless lists of vocabulary and trying to decipher strange idiomatic expression. Power to you! Go for it!
