Demian:Could you tell me how to do chart exercises? There is no user manual and I can't figure out what I am supposed to do.It's not that hard once you get the hang of it. You just have to choose a word from each of the columns in the exercise and put them together in order to make a sentence that makes grammatical sense.
Thank you!
For instance, let's look at the first chart exercise for Lesson 1 of "Jen nia IJK". You have six choices for the first column, two for the third and only one for the second. The second column is going to be easy.
So the answers to the first chart exercise can be things like:
Mi // estas // Kabe
Mia nomo // estas // Kabe
Ĉu vi // estas // Ina?
and so forth. (Without the slashes, of course)
Sometimes you will be given a word in one of the positions and you have to create a sentence around it.
As you progress the tabelekzercoj become a little harder. For instance the choices in column 1 might be "hieraŭ // hodiaŭ // morgaŭ" and the second might be "mi parolis // mi parolas // mi parolos" and you have to match the verb tense with the adverb.
I find the tabelekzercoj to be some of the easiest exercises because you can copy and paste your answers, saving typing errors.
Good luck.

Look at this image (below), for instance. After doing the exercise I realise I should have written "Via nomo plaĉis al mi." instead of "Via nomo rilatas al mi." in sentence four. I didn't use "plaĉis" anywhere.
At the bottom there is only one tab, "Malplenigu." I don't see a tab that compares my answers to correct ones.

The object of the exercise is not to necessarily create sentences that make logical sense. Logical sense is irrelevant here. "Mi estas ruĝa saksofono" would be a perfectly good sentence if those were among your choices, even though it's unlikely to be true outside of some oddball poetic usage. The object is to make sentences that make good grammatical sense, with the proper accusative endings, agreement in number and the like. Since "Via nomo rilatas al mi" is a perfectly valid sentence, it's acceptable, even if as Erinja says it's a bit odd. (I think I might be able to say that sentence to my grandson, whose middle name is Creede and has something to do with me. But it's a stretch.)
You know you have a correct sentence when the background of the sentence turns green, just like all the ones in the graphic you linked to. Other exercises have a "Montru solvojn" button that you can click to show answers. Unfortunately, the chart exercises do not, because there are presumably a multitude of answers that can be presented in any order. Working through the words given, and sometimes a bit of trial and error, is the way through.

https://www.gov.uk/apply-renew-passport
You can pick up passport application forms from your local Post Office and apply by post, or use the Post Office Check and Send service.
Edit
Oh, you surely meant Universala Kongreso ...
I wonder if UK-o could be used...
