I want to start updating the stats on the Congress website, so if you are pretty sure that you are coming, but haven't got the time to enrol at the moment, could you please flag to with a short message to EAB that you are likely to be attending.

Can someone do me a favour? I had a report of someone trying to access info at the website and then being asked to register. It is my understanding that the info can be read without registering at the Congress Forum.

Do these links work for you? I can't test them myself as I am an administrator

As Oijos says.

The second link leads to what looks to be a forum thread. I didn't attempt to post anything, but I have no trouble viewing it.

The first and third links lead directly to a logon page (identical-looking in each case, although it looks like the parameters following the "?" in the URL are different), asking for a username and password. I am unable to get past those pages.

Thanks folks. I think the reason is that some tiny detail in the permissions settings got accidentally changed. Though at first glance the board settings all appeared to be set to the default.

Is it fixed now, so that non-registrants (guests) can get access all those links?

Many thanks for your help folks.

I am delighted to announce that we have secured a semi-professional entertainment for the congress. The semi-final of 'Make me a Star' will take place at the theatre (kongresejo) on the Saturday night.

I am assured by the Tourist Office that the acts (singers, dancers, etc) are all of a high standard by the time they reach the semi-final. This event will be widely advertised in the town.

The kongresanoj will be admitted to the balcony (included in the kotizo), whilst the general public will occupy the the stalls.

Also subject to confirmation we will have royalty in the form of the Carnival Queen (Miss Ramsgate) present for the formal opening. How suitable for the only town in England to have a Royal Harbour.

I don't know how long the low prices for accommodation at the Seafront Travelodge will last. If you are thinking of coming I suggest you get your skates on and book early
