I really do want to learn Esperanto

I know there are probably threads on Esperanto online radio station thingies but for all intents and purposes, I'm incompetent at setting things like that up. If someone would please explain to me how I can listen to some dialog that I'm assuming will help me ingrain it into my brain, I'd be happy.
Just a few questions:
Will I need software? Is it like Pandora Radio where I just go to the URL, select a channel, and it starts playing? What are options of topics? Do radios mostly broadcast global news? Are there local radios (ie Canadian based)?
Thanks.

erinja:I don't know where you are living in QuebecMy apologies, I should have given my location. I'm familiar with the few major Esperanto groups in Canada but Montreal is (I think) a 7 hour drive from where I am. I live in a town called Val d'Or. They don't even get video games on the correct release dates.
Thanks Cymbyz.
As to why I wish to learn Esperanto before French: funny story actually. Due to uncontrollable circumstances I have to finish high school through the Ontario school board and I'm a hardcore gamer. So it's essentially me and my basement for then next 11 months. All though I do have a HUGE backyard so exercise will actually be happening.

Soma N.:I live in a town called Val d'Or.How funny! I grew up in Val d'Or and still own a house in La Corne (even though I moved out of there seven years ago).
I don't go back there that often, but should be there some time next summer. So if you happen to still live there, we may enter in contact, that would be great to get some real life Esperanto going on again (only once did it ever happen to me so far).
Cheers,
Félix

Stefano B:Why do you want to learn Esperanto before French?Research suggests that learning Esperanto facilitates the acquisition of a foreign language considerably. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Propaedeutic_value_of...

Elly:If you can find it, you could watch the movie Incubus with William Shatner. It's in esperanto and I actually liked itYes, but the quality of grammar and pronunciation is not good. Don't use that movie to learn Esperanto.
