Hello. I'd just like to find a partner to learn and interact with in Esperanto, of course we would be mostly talking in english at first. I don't know any esperantists around where I live, so I just thought I'd ask.

I'm in the same boat so I'd be happy to work with you. I have to warn you though that between school and work my free time for studying Esperanto is pretty limited, so I haven't been studying very much at all lately and I may not be a great partner if you're really on fire and progressing rapidly. Then again, maybe a partner would give me a little motivation to find some extra time to hit the books, so to speak.

And here you will find a listing (I suspect fairly complete) of Esperanto events. Searching for Italio I found 12 matches. (the publishers of the list have a bee in their bonnet about country names, rejecting Italujo)

Wherever the gentleman actually lives he can use the link I provided to display Esperanto Clubs in his region.

hehe. No. I'm not computer illiterate. I guess I'll change it to be less confusing.

Also, I wonder why this gent is speaking in third person about me? I think that's kind of weird.

I'll hazard a guess that it's because he's not addressing you directly, but rather talking about you to another (third) person.

You should use korekta, korekti means "to correct" okulumo.gif
