I've written some poetry books and would love to translate them to Esperanto. What's the best company to go about selling them with? I prefer Ebooks but don't mind also considering print.

Why not self-publish on Amazon?

How many Esperantists use Amazon? I'm thinking of publishing it to a blog and supporting that blog with ads. Then placing everything under the CC so people can share. Does Google Adsense allow sites other than English?

Amazon doesn't accept books in Esperanto.

How about the UEA (Universal Esperanto Asociation)?

I have read these three are the biggies in Esperanto ebook publishing:

(1) Sezonoj (Russia)
(2) Flandra Esperanto-Ligo (Belgium)
(3) Mondial (US)

?? Why not? They have an Esperanto sub-section.

I'm just now reading Marvirinstrato, which I bought on the Amazon Kindle store. There are a few other titles available in Esperanto (not a lot), including Privat's Vivo de Zamenhof. Clearly they accept some titles in Esperanto. I'm not sure whether they'll accept them for Direct Publishing, however.

Yes, definitely it can at least be seen on many German-language sites ridulo.gif - and it seems that at least lernu! (which is however multilingual) uses Google ads, too. I'm not sure if there is any language policy...

AdSense automatically detects the language of the page and puts up ads in that language.

Practically, this means that if your site is entirely in Esperanto, AdSense is unlikely to be able to come up with much to show your page's viewers. You can notice it at lernu, if you use our Esperanto version, you will see more ads for Esperanto stuff. Those are ads that we've put into the stream; they only show up when Google can't come up with anything to show.
