T0dd:Edit: I think I need -N after po.
It's often omitted, even for the accusative of time/measure. Out of curiosity I searched Tekstaro and found "po kvardek kilometroj hore" in Ĉu li? and "po dek horoj ĉiutage" in Marta, as well as similar usage in other works, so I would think it's not really worth worrying about.
I hate "po." I hate it in Russian and hate it in Esperanto. ridulo.gif

The usage seems to be divided with more modern texts in the Tekstaro having a higher frequency of the accusative and the older ones treating 'po' as a preposition governing the whole of the ensuing expression (ie not followed by the accusative).

In any case 'po' is surprisingly common judging by the number of hits, despite the tendency to avoid it because of doubts about its correct use.

I quite like it used in compounds - ĉu vi vendas la vinon po-glase au ĉu necesas aĉeti tutan botelon; kio estas la po-sekunda rapido de la lumo en vakuo.

I've never needed to use it enough that I can ever remember how to use it when I need to. Each time I relearn it, I end up forgetting it by the time I need it again.

So, I avoid using it entirely. Problem... not "solved", exactly, but certainly skipped past.

I think using the past with the word "antaŭe" in the beginning would do the job:
Antaŭe mi lernis Esperanton dum 5 horoj ĉiutage.

I also like the option with the verb "kutimi":
Mi kutimis lerni Esperanton dum 5 horoj ĉiutage.

Oh, that's sad malgajo.gif We often omit it, too, though.
