Google Translate will read text in Esperanto now, as it happens. The pronunciation is fine but it's an incredibly mechanical voice.

Speech synthesis is much easier in Esperanto than in other languages.

I forgot about Google Translate. Based on the sound of it, I believe they are using ESpeak as their engine for Esperanto.
