Wondering the bad accounting for saying the conference hall is paid and AMO is just a part of it, no money is needed.
The true fact is, if it is a programme, why there needs a special person to handle this. What is the effect of it.
It might be similar to the China Day in UKo, but that is paid by the rich Chinese government. How the esperantists fill the form to get approval is a wonderful tactics, but it is bad accoubting to tell the esperantists in UKo about China with less than 30 persons attending it. A youtube free video is suffice for that.
Time is money

se:The true fact is, if it is a programme, why there needs a special person to handle this. What is the effect of it.The fact that someone is doing the arrangements for it doesn't mean this person is paid, and it doesn't mean that if this event didn't exist, that the person would volunteer to do something else instead. Whether it costs extra really depends on the event. At many events, if the venue is already paid for, and all the rooms are paid for, not every room is in use all the time, so you can often find a way to have one more meeting in the same place for no extra cost, especially if the event is held at a school or university rather than a hotel.
Not everything is a waste simply because you personally are not interested in participating in it.
Some other people may think that MOOCs are a waste of time, and you like to promote them. That's fine because we should all spend our time on things we think valuable and stop worrying so much about what other people are doing.
