I've just made a (small) new release of ESPDIC and added an on-line search feature.

ESPDIC (Esperanto-English Dictionary)

I'm curious how many of you use ESPDIC and if so, how frequently. I'm trying to anticipate server load / bandwidth usage for the new online version.

I would also be interested in learning what applications you might have incorporated ESPDIC in.

I use ESPDIC daily, but that's because I've used it to generate a Kindle dictionary, so when I want to look up a word in the book I'm reading I use it. That shouldn't be a very big load on your server

That said, maybe once every week or so I've been known to access the .txt of ESPDIC and F3 a word, though this is much rarer now that I've "graduated" to being able to use a fully Esperanto dictionary -- now it's restricted mostly to when Lernu's English-to-EO is failing me. The search should be pretty useful in lessening the load of users like me, then.

I downloaded it some time ago to program against, but really haven't written anything with it worth mentioning. Other than that, I have to admit that I've never actually used it to look up a word. The Lernu dictionary is generally my "go to" EO dictionary.
