I checked Amazon.com and there, an used copy would cost about $1,000!
Is this book out of print?
Are there any PDFs available of this book?

BoriQa:Are there any affordable copies of this book?I never understood why so many Amazon sellers do this. They take a cheap product, and price it at hundreds and thousands of dollars over a reasonable price. It's not just when something is sold out, either. You see this sort of thing all the time if you're willing to look far enough down the listings. It's not like anyone who is not clinically insane would ever purchase something like that.

Anyway, I got mine on Amazon for a reasonable price a little while ago, but I suppose that isn't very relevant seeing as bluemanshoe and rheotaxis posted good options.
Happy reading!

BoriQa:Are there any affordable copies of this book? There are some good suggestions here. I would add that in general, it is worthwhile going to Esperanto conventions, where cheap used copies of Esperanto books are liable to be sold. Of course, that's not the only reason for going.

BoriQa:Are there any affordable copies of this book?We (Esperanto-Asocio de Britio) have new copies for £12.10 (~$20 CAD). I'll confirm how much it would cost to ship a copy to Canada then get back to you.
Edit: You might be better served to get it from the USA, of course. Esperanto USA has it for $15 US. No idea about the shipping costs, though you'd think it cheaper over land than by air.

Last time I looked in the office there were plenty of rarities on the used shelves, including several copies of the original Teach Yourself Esperanto, so expect some of those to be appearing on eBay soon.
