Rejsi:Maybe I'm just stupid, but can you give me some type of hint on what to do in the beginning? I've walked all the way around the pyramid and found nothing. The controls say that the right and left mouse buttons are for "fire1" and "fire2," but nothing happens when you click them. You can't walk up the pyramid and all around the pyramid seems to be an endless, flat plane. I'm at a loss. There is a secret door at the base of the pyramid. If you walk in the proximity of the door, the crystal (already in your possession) triggers the door to open. If you're walking quite close to the pyramid, and are able to see the side of it, you should notice it sliding out, else I guess you could miss it.
You start the game next to a sign. If you face the sign and the pyramid, the door is on the left hand face.
The instructions for the left, right mouse buttons are generic to the game engine. The game uses the left mouse button to interact with objects later on in the game.

Leke:Does anyone have any ideas for an Esperanto themed, 3D video game? I have an assignment to make a game later this year, or then another one next year. I can do it about anything, but if the idea is good enough, I'll steal it from youIt wouldn't be 3D as in a console game, but a 3dish social game idea I've been batting around for a while would be around the theme of "Fina Venko" or "Lingua Franca"- players take control of a language and compete to become the most widely used in the world through a variety of strategies like funding language education outside their nation, cultural influence, diplomacy, economic power, military power, media publishing, etc.

jaldrich:That could be interesting strategic game. Not a 3-dimensional. There are football manager games, and even a game concerning USA presidential elections. So, this could be feasible.Leke:Does anyone have any ideas for an Esperanto themed, 3D video game? I have an assignment to make a game later this year, or then another one next year. Gerrybuu67:The best games to do this would be what we call RPG games like Oblivion or Skyrim. It would be interresting to have thoses games translated in Esperanto.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Esperanto_in_popular_...
I am quite new here but in my research of Esperanto I try to convert as much into the language I am learning, I did find this ^ that Morrowind and Skyrim both have an almost Esperanto book in each. As well as the opening to FF11 being sung in Esperanto.

Leke:Hi, so I finished the game just after the new year. I worked with a partner and was responsible for the first level (the pyramid). It's not an Esperanto themed game, but I've thrown some Esperanto things in there (including a word puzzle). In the plot, the language is used by an alien race to communicate in their human form, and pre-dates human language. Note, the game might be a little scary for kids.I've just been playing it. I got into the pyramid okay - although I was walking too slowly - and I enjoyed solving the first puzzle. But after wandering around in the dark maze for a while, I haven't got past it. Mazes and darkness are two things I don't much like... On the whole, it's a decent first 3D game, but it can be improved on. The mouse handling and menu options, for example, are a bit crude.
Leke:I recently had an idea about a game featuring a robot that the player had to instruct to do certain tasks. All the instructions would be typed in Esperanto of course. You could start off with simple instructions, and progress adding verbs, adjectives, numbers, time etc...Sounds like LightBot!

Moosader:I don't know if any of you are into Open Source game development, but I've created a group on GitHub called Esperanto Arcade and anyone who wants to is welcome to join; just let me know your GitHub ID and I can add you.Nice. I hadn't heard about GitHub, but I recently joined GameJolt, which seems to be a similar-ish place.
Going back to the topic, it seems to me that the best prospect for a truly Esperanto game would be a text adventure, but I've never been into these...

Although the primary objective of this game is to teach kids how to use javascript.
It is still fun.
