Has anyone read this article published in The Economist on Sept.26?

Cheers.

I'm not seeing anything about Esperanto on that page.
. . . Okay, after some searching, I found the correct page. Your URL says 2913 instead of 2013.

Yep, I've seen it. The commenter who so shamelessly stole my Lernu screen name in the comment thread of that article is actually me (so, y'know, I'm more or less cool with the theft).

I saw them too. Though I must say that I found the comments to be much more interesting and perhaps even enlightening.

Sorry, mia kulpo! I'll try to be more careful next time I use my 'fat fingers'. Anyway, I do agree with
love4gives, I found the comments much more interesting. Dan.

Thanks! Yeah, I thought I'd take a slightly different approach with that one. Hopefully some people got it.

Thanks for this link. The article and the profound comments together gives a good overview.

Oy veh! Another British article about how Esperanto is doomed. I wonder why the Brits have to repeat this over and over again and then that crap about Esperanto not having its own culture and blah blah blah. Maybe too much rain falls on them or that Yorkshire pudding has something in it. On top of that, The Economist is not exactly a very progressive newspaper, aahmmmmm... Me thinks there is something foul in Engmark.
