I've been using Duolingo to learn Spanish because I love how it works. Then I heard about the Incubator where you can add courses in any language.

I would to contribute to an Esperanto course, but I'm not fluent in a language. So I'm going to ask if anyone who is fluent in both languages (English/Esperanto) who could contribute to a new course go to the incubator site (http://incubator.duolingo.com/) and click the "contribute to a course" so I can start learning Esperanto there eventually.

A friend mentioned Duolingo to me, but yeah, no Esperanto.

But my husband recommended Memrise http://www.memrise.com/home/ . He used it for Spanish but they have some Esperanto and it also allows you to make your own (either for your own use or to share).

Now you can add Esperanto. If you are fluent in Esperanto and English, you can sign up and contribute a language. I can't do it because I'm not fluent in Esperanto, but I was wondering if other people could do it.

Esperanto is still not available to add in the incubator... It's just the six main languages to and from each other.

What are you talking about? It's available in the incubator...You just have to apply for it.

Rejsi, can you explain how to find that? I looked too and I don't see Esperanto, or the option to add Esperanto, anywhere. Do you mean someone needs to email them and offer it?

On the front page for the Incubator, you should see "courses teaching" and "for speakers of".
Under "courses teaching", there are only six languages: English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish.
Under "for speakers of", there are those six plus Japanese, Chinese, Russian, and Polish. At the end of that list, it says other. Click on that.
Once you click "apply to contribute", you will see the complete list of 23 languages, including Esperanto and . . . what? Klingon?

Hello, I was wondering - did anyone of you applied for the Incubator? I am a big fan of Duolingo and I think it is great page (and free!) with awesome community. Sounds like perfect environment for teaching Esperanto.

I know that they add new languages to the Incubator gradually, but no Esperanto yet malgajo.gif I was wondering that they haven't added it yet, because demand for other languages was bigger or that not many people applied for it.

I'm really looking forward to see it there. I think it would help Esperanto to spread even more.

Yeah, we need some masters of Esperanto to help.

Hi!
I've just found Duolingo, but I such love it!
But come on! Why don't we try to create the Esperanto vesion? I'm not a native Esperanto speaker, but I speak it quite well, and we can always ask for some help in this forum, can't we?
