I was wondering if anyone from the Oklahoma City area would want to start meeting up. It's hard to stay motivated when your flying solo. Plus I would like to get to know those who live in the area. I know there have been trys at makin' a group in the area before. But if at least one other wants to, I'd be willing!

Try sending private messages to all the Oklahoma people, not everyone reads the forums.

Try announcing on /r/oklahoma. They have over 5000 subscribers.

If any of you know any Esperantists in Oklahoma please message them about the group. You can message me for my phone number to put us in contact!

Esperanto-USA says there where 7 members in Oklahoma as of 2008. If anyone has the listing of members that would be super helpful. I plan on getting membership soon, but I don't have it yet ..

Did you try my hint for searching for Oklahoma and OK in the lernu database and messaging those people? any responses?

Yes I did, indeed. Two poeple responded. I've met up with one of them already. He had contacts with 3 others who are looking into it. We're currently talking about meeting times.

I didn't expect to have this problem, but the fluent Esperanto speakers in Oklahoma that I know aren't showing any interest. Because I guess this has been tried before, and they don't see people showing up .. I'd be good with 3 or 4 .. Lol
