For the A exam, it's more people than the number who have completed the Ana Pana course, start to finish, for example.

erinja:That's since the exams have existed. Keep in mind that not every student takes an exam. Lots of people sign up to lernu simply to use the dictionary or forums, but not to do exams.Fortunately you don't need to register in order to use the dictionary or read forums. And that's not a hint.

And how long have the exams existed? And "lots of" people sign up to Lernu! and only do or try the exams.
You seem to be in a delusion that the Lernu!-courses are valuable. Very few would pay for them – Esperanto is too easy and Internet and libraries are not short of material.

Mi ne sxatis la "-in" kaj "ge-" rubajxo, sed krome, la kursoj sxajnas suficxe valoraj per mi.

How many times did you change the content of the exams?
Kiom da fojoj vi sxangxis la enhavon de la ekzamenoj?

Oijos: And how long have the exams existed? And "lots of" people sign up to Lernu! and only do or try the exams. What do you like to point to in detail?
Oijos:You seem to be in a delusion that the Lernu!-courses are valuable. Very few would pay for them – Esperanto is too easy and Internet and libraries are not short of material. You're frightening that next generation Lernu website relaunch will be splitted by Lernu teamo into free and premium content, isn't? I don't think so. But of course that could need verification by someones of the Lernu team.

Oijos:That's depressing. How many year's result is that? What numbers did you expect? Not everybody like to learn online. Probably most do mix of online and offline non-digital self-teaching.
For statistical reason it would be interesting:
- How many Esperanto A level users get over into B and C level?
- How long did that online education process lasts in average?
- Beside Lernu's online ressources, which other learning material ressources will used by Lernu users?
- How many and which Esperanto events Lernu users did participate?

I can well imagine someone taking one of the Lernu exams out of curiosity about the exam, having learnt much from other sources than the Lernu site, and learners at Lernu not bothering to take the exam.
However it would hardly be sensible to have courses and no tests at a Learning site.

Oijos:You seem to be in a delusion that the Lernu!-courses are valuable. Very few would pay for them – Esperanto is too easy and Internet and libraries are not short of material. Not sure how long the exams have existed; they haven't been here since the beginning of the site but I don't remember the year when they were introduced.
And no, no delusions. There are many people in the world. Some of them will use our courses and find them effective, and some of them will find another method of learning effective or more suited to their lifestyle. That's fine and the site team isn't bothered by that.
Anyone who wants to post in the forums is free to do so. Basically you need to register an account to do something active on the site (do a course, post in forums, post on the instant messenger, send and receive private messages, do exercises) but not to do thing passively (look at the grammar guide, read the forums but not post messages, etc)
However, thank you so much for your sincere compliments. Obviously our site is really wonderful if even someone who has so many critical things to say about it still returns day after day to participate in our forum discussions, Oijos! I am glad that you love our site so much that in spite of your many criticisms, you have chosen to stay here and participate in our community rather than closing your account and taking your business elsewhere, to some other Esperanto website that has much better courses and forums and requires no registration.
