I was wondering whether anyone knew of a resources that has translations for words belonging to specific areas like philosophy, biology and the rest of the academic fields. Do official translations exist for most of these words? Are they in the PIV?

Thanks!

I don't know of anything online, but I also never had to look for such resources so far...

I've found many translations for technical/scientifical terms. I have seen terminaroj, or "term-books", for Botany for example. About their "official" status I don't really know.
Are they in the PIV?
I suppose PIV has many of them, yes. I'd have to browse my copy to be sure, but I don't have it at hand right now.

If you look on the UEA katalogo, then you should be able to find a few scientific dictionaries. Last time I looked, I think I saw a chemical and a maths one. Although, you would be buying a lot of dictionaries if yo wanted them all!
