Mi ankaŭ estas komencanto. BeardedBloke demandis "kiel fariĝas?" Mi havas ideon. Mi skribas kaj parolas nur mallongajn frazojn. Hieraŭ mi skribis mallongan frazon kaj mi faris ĝin pli longan. Gi estis bona metodo lerni. La frazo estas:-

"Unu malgranda verda krokodilo kuras sub la arbojn kaj serĉas unu brunan leonon, sed la leono ne estas tie, kaj du grandaj grizaj elefantoj ridas."

Ĉu vi ĉiuj volus skribi similan frazon?

I am also a beginner. BeardedBloke asked "How is it happening?" I have an idea. I write & speak only short sentences. Yesterday I wrote a short sentence and made it longer. It was a good way to learn.The sentence was:-

"One small green crocodile runs under the trees and looks for a brown lion, but the lion is not there, and two large grey elephants laugh".

Would you all like to write a similar sentence?

I am a new lernanto as well. I would like to ask this study group a question:
I am running into two words for walk: marŝi and promeni

Which should I use? Are they used exactly the same? or perhaps they have slightly different meanings. In that case in what kind of sentences is one better than the other?

Mi estas promeni por la tabla.
Mi estas marŝi por la tabla.

Thank you, I appreciate this study group being available. I would like to follow it, and hopefully at some point I can learn enough to start helping others in return.
