However, the work I'm translating refers to a "blackout," as in when an area loses electricity. I don't think these words would be interchangeable in Esperanto, but I'm not sure what word to use in its place. I'm using "elektroperdo," now, since I think that gets across the meaning, but it there an already existing word or better neologism for it that I don't know?
