How does this sound to you:

Kial vi ne suben rigardas kie viaj (propraj) pedoj staras
sur tiu usona tero, kiu pensigas vin (esti) meritinto (de ĉio).


This is my humble attempt to express something along the lines of "que te hace pensarte (creerte) merecido" = "that makes you think that you have earned all this" = "that makes you believe that all this is your merit and legally yours and nobody will dispute it".

Seems a little different from the gist of what you first proposed ... but then again, it’s your interpretation, so as long as it’s grammatically sound — and rhymes, I suppose — it’s all good. okulumo.gif

(By the way, for my part of it, I’d say either lose the parentheses around propraj or lose propraj altogether. And I want royalties. lango.gif)
