A facebook post by Phil Dorcas gave me an idea for a marketing slogan:

"Do an end run around the NSA; use Esperanto!"

As a native English speaker, I'm baffled. What do you intend this to mean?

Haven't you been watching the news? TheNSA is under fire for spying on US citizens: emails, phone calls, etc.

Hmm, this looks like either you don't know or don't care that the NSA is spying everyone, not only US-citizens. Hope i'm wrong.

It's a football term meaning an attempt to avoid direct confrontation.
I used to watch a lot of American football games... however not being a native I found the explanation on Wiki ridulo.gif

No, I don't care that they spy on non-usonanoj. That's what they're there for.

For "do an end run around" I would say "ĉirkaŭevitu", literally "avoid by going around", dodge.
