Is there a certain order for affixes/roots when building words?

The concise grammar page gives "skribtablo" for "writing table", but is "tabloskribo" the same thing?

If a "kristano" is a christian, would a female christian be a "kristanino" or "kristinano"? Is it based on priority?

Thank you for any help.

The order of words in compounds and the order of the affixes is important. It definitely changes the meaning of the word.

To me 'tabloskribo' would be something written on a table --a generic table.

'Kristanino' is correct and means a female Christian.

'Ilarujo' a container for tools.

'Ilujaro' a collection of tool containers.

'Ujilaro' a collection of tools for making containers (?)

Etc.
