a forum where you could block posts or private messages from obnoxious twits or else just people whose opinions are so diametrically opposed to yours, you just don't even want to interact with them at all?
a forum where the "estraro" immediately and without any bias deals with agitators and trolls according to specific and clear-cut rules?
a forum where you can continue a discussion that has drifted off topic without having to go to an Esperanto only thread?

We don't claim to be a nicer-looking or less "eyeoffending" (whatever the heck that means) platform than lernu forums and we don't have an e-dictionary available.
Most importantly, we are NOT suggesting or even demanding that anyone abandon Lernu! Certainly not! We are simply offering an alternative, additional venue to discuss Esperanto and Esperantujo.
You have to sign up like on lernu but it's free, like on lernu.

EDIT: Good forums will emerge, if we get the numbers up. That's should be the first priority.

Oijos:Even more censoring there?I see nothing in the first post about censoring......unless thee is talking about the "deals with trolls and troublemakers" part? yeah, I could see where that might be seen as "censoring" to those who for some reason think it their god-given right to be rude, nasty, obnoxious individuals to all and sundry.

On the other hand, as long as delphi TOS is adhered to, posters can be as obnoxious to each other as they want. I'm sure that will please some here to no end.....only thing is that such a poster shouldn't be surprised if everyone puts him/her on ignore.

BTW, one can't even see the forum without signing up. Or am I missing something?

I always thought that was like the fountain of youth or the holy grail of esperantujo...probably not. i've been a delphiforums member so long, i've lived thru countless changes in their policies; it could be now that you have to sign up in order to see the forum.........although I kind of doubt it. there is a member here that has attempted to copy and paste here one of the posts from there.....of course, there is a person on the visitor list that became a member just yesterday. I have a feeling our cut-and-paster is that person.
BTW, one can't even see the forum without signing up. Or am I missing something?
