Saluton!

I've just created a course called "Esperanto - Affixes in Action!" on the Memrise website:

http://www.memrise.com/course/364727/esperanto-aff...

There are already a couple of other affix-focused courses on the site, but I think this one is a bit more thorough. Here's how I set it up:

- Each level focuses on a single affix (bo-, -ar-, etc.)
- Within a level, one item is the affix itself, and then there are two pairs of words, one is a root, and the other is a word using the affix for that level. For example, for "bo-" there is:

1) bo-
2) filo
3) bofilo
4) fratino
5) bofratino

I felt that learning examples alongside the affixes themselves would help me (and hopefully others) pick up the affixes much more quickly. Most courses on Memrise and Anki seem to just include the affixes themselves.

As of now, only some of the words have audio. I'm planning on adding audio for the other words soon. But I thought I'd make the course public now, as it might be of help to others (I hope!). I'm also very open to feedback and corrections to make it as useful as possible.

Sincerely,
Dugĉjo (Doug)

Dankon, I will give it a try later today!

Saluton!

Thanks for those who have tried out this Memrise course. I hope it is helpful. I have added audio to the first half of the course (Levels 1-21) and will do the rest later today after a break.

As always, let me know if you have any suggestions for the course. I guess this is the first time I've put my 'Esperanto voice' out there (nearly all of the words with the affixes added in - like "bonega" - are mine, but many of the affixes themselves like "-eg" and the roots like "bona" are other voices that were already in the Memrise database), so if there are any pronunciation errors, I'd be grateful to know about it! ridulo.gif

UPDATE: The course now has audio for all words. Enjoy!
