Mr. Hunt is now retired and has been learning Esperanto. This is what he has to say about an Esperanto course that he took in Canada:
“It was a life changing experience for me,” Mr. Hunt said. “I realized that Esperanto was for real. The instructors and advanced students spoke it with native fluency. A number of my classmates were from foreign countries and scarcely knew any English; yet we could communicate with each other in Esperanto. There was a strong sense of belonging to a friendly community of people brought together by their dedication to learning this language.”
