marbuljon:There are tons and tons of free tools out there. No need to buy[/otherwise] anything.SciBerC:There is a solution...Anything at all that costs money, even a super tiny amount, is a no-can-do. But I will see if I can, ehem, somehow get these things for free...

As for programming, I don't have the patience to learn haha!!
If you need advice on picking up a tool, let me know what kind of game you're thinking of creating.

Oh wow, you replied fast, I was just going to edit my post haha...
By the way, add "Aria Maestosa" to your music tools section. It's just something to make songs in, and you can use soundfonts.

For anyone interested in the gamejam ( aka "Ludfesto" ), here are some updates:
The Ludfesto homepage is at nia-esperanto.com. Register & mark your place on the map! We will have a place to submit your project closer to December, but right now you can register to at least show that you're interested.
"Should I register for Ludfesto?" - If you want to participate by programming (or building a game with a pre-existing tool), making art, making music, helping with translations, playtesting, etc. then you should register!
I've set up a general-purpose Subreddit for Game Creation topics (in Esperanto): /r/LudoKonstruado. I hope that this will continue to be used after Ludfesto as well, but for the time being I'm trying to get some threads running to get people discussing!
Keep up with Ludfesto news (and other future events?) via the Twitter account @NiaEsperanto. Maybe after a gamejam, we can do similar events for other types of media!
Ludfesto runs throughout the entire month of December! Whether you're experienced or not, spend some time learning some new skills, and make a little game for Esperantujo!
Thanks everyone,
--Rachel
