The old one has many buttons. Or you can do it for other reader with buttons. But the main is it to look as an ancient book with runes on it.
Krom tio, such case would protect reader's screen from damaging. Somebody make a case for reader of steel, but it is heavy.

Christa627:I have a Nook Simple Touch and it has 4 buttons. 3 of which would be problematic as they are covered by the soft plastic casing.sergejm:A wooden case for Kindle would look more cool!I just told my brother that, and he said, "They're wrong. A Kindle doesn't have any buttons."

Oh, well I actually don't know anything about Kindles, I'm just passing along what my brother said. The calculator, I don't know if you noticed, is not just in a wooden case; the original plastic exterior is actually replaced by the wooden case, and all the buttons are made of wood. I don't know if that kind of refurbishing would work for a Kindle or not .
