And to put it in terms more likely to happen in Esperantujo, if I solve a crossword puzzle for a contest and send in the solution in the hopes of receiving a prize, the solved puzzle can be called an 'entry'. What's it called in Esperanto?

If you enter a contest where you have to make something, be it a painting, a sculpture, a wooden duck, the object you create is called a "contest entry" or an 'entry' in a contest.
