Hi!

I have just recently started learning Esperanto. I'd like to do it quick: learn the grammar (I have studied the shortened grammar) and I would like to learn the basic words also in a nice list. But I can't really find something appropiate.

You guys have something for me?

Hello, Nemesis!

There are links to some lists of often words on this page:

http://www.uea.org/vikio/Tezauxro
(see (2), (3) and (4))

Zlatko Tiŝljar's list is famous for being the basis of the learning method "Zagreba Metodo". This course is avaiable in lernu! (see further information and the course itself at Courses > Basic > La Zagreba metodo)

The lists on this webpage will give you a very good foundation. But acquiring fluency, so that they become not just words that you recognise the meaning of, but can use them in thinking or speaking, will take more time. One useful exercise is to always learn words not only from E-o into English, but also the other way round.

It's pretty obvious i will learn from English into Esperanto. ridego.gif That's how you get to know a language the best. Otherwise the words aren't always rememebered very well. Are there also lists in Dutch? My English is well, but i'd rather learn in my mother language.

aha, i have taken a look on the list. It's not quite what i expected from a list lango.gif

I expected that it was a real list. The one column the esperanto word, the other the translation. Easy to learn. So there is no such list on the internet? Is there one in the form of the book? And if so, where can I buy it?

Did you look at this page? It seems to have what you want, but I don't know if I fully understand what you want.

http://en.lernu.net/lernado/vortoj/vortlernado/ind...

Category 1 is the most common words, Category 2 the next most common, etc.

You could print out a copy of each list if you want.
