I've been a part of a Swedish group and a French group on "what's app", a texting app that great for group messaging. Being a part of both groups has been great practice for me, I've gotten to speak to learners and native speakers alike throughout the day. I was wondering if we could start one for Esperanto? Speaking is of course the best way to learn and practice, and finding people who also speak can be difficult at times. What are your thoughts on this idea?

Fenris_kcf:Simply use the IRC-channel ##esperanto on FreeNodeI second this motion. But the more ways to meet the better. It would be nice to have one central location for chatting, and my vote would be IRC.

Smartyy:… but accessing it on your phone is a bit more complicated …There are dozens of IRC-clients available on all smartphone-OS's.
