A big Esperanto discussion occurs every few weeks on r/LanguageLearning, especially since the Duolingo course started in the incubator. You get a lot of the same same comments, "Everyone speaks English" "Esperanto has no culture", but also some positive ones.

At least people are being made aware of Esperanto, that people still speak it and its a serious language.

Don't worry. Bad publicity is the best kind of advertising. The more people hate something, the more popular it will be.
