The World Scout page has the language which member can elect, Esperanto is one of the them in the list.

Besides, the website has a part-- other, now Indonesia language is in.

Chinese is not in the page though they follow the UN rule on language, because China has no scout movement as well as Vietnam too.

Therefore, it is a good chance for Esperanto to be listed in the OTHER.

Being a former boy scout, I wouldn't mind helping out in translating such a page. Send me a pm, if desired.

Thank you sir. As there is not more than ONE esperanto scout posting there, I am afraid the admin would not agree to have the Esperanto page. The scout link language page is for the users, since the users are not many, they would not waste the time and money for that.

The suggestion has to make in the forum page of the scout.org to get support from the members.

I don't understand why the Esperanto scout group is not taking the initiative to do so rather than taking it as a hobby as some describe it.

I put up the BP calling for using Esperanto. Hope that would make them eager to know Esperanto.

Will get back to you later or you may also register to get Esperanto posting there going better. ridulo.gif
