Some native Esperantoists are doing an AMA on Reddit. It's been quite popular.

I do not have a reddit account and do not intend to open one either. But many arguments are still in the constructive language and there is no vocab from my language.

1. which language is not constructed ? Human being born with writing characters ? As Noam Chomsky said Esperanto ne estas lingvo. But he did not know there are languages with less than 200 words and they have go on for century before this American man was borne.

2. Economic is not in the argument, if a country make Esperanto as the second language, it will save tons of money and produce more polyglots. Besides, the report of Esperanto to help in delaying old age dementia is totally ignored. Certainly, when the opposer of Esperanto got the old age dementia,s/he will not be able to tell the world about the regrets.

3. The air tragedy by using English is not mentioned. The dead pilots would not be able to raise from the tomb to testify in court that they could not understand the English in the controlling tower.Of course the record in the controlling tower is perfect but the pilots hear it and interpret it the other ways.

This Indonesian, perhaps, guessing, did not know Esperanto is in his/her life every day.

The Esperantujo must move forward in data but not on the old ones such as peace language. If Putin speaks Esperanto, the problem would be happened in Ukranio ? The prisoners could turn over a new leaf if they learn Esperanto ?

The post was (unfairly) removed so they had a second go at an AMA here: http://www.reddit.com/r/casualiama/comments/2wopi7...

Both are interesting discussions, with a decent mixture of good and bad questions. Some of the commenters were a bit harsh, considering English isn't the OPs native language. Otherwise, I'm glad to see it was met with such a large response, it's interesting that so many people are interested in Esperanto.
